During a meeting with an official delegation led by British High Commissioner Lindy Cameron, the Chief Minister highlighted Telangana’s investment opportunities and ongoing efforts to strengthen the manufacturing sector.

He specifically invited British investors to explore:

  • Pharmaceutical sector investments

  • Electric vehicle (EV) industry development

  • Bharat Future City project

In response, High Commissioner Lindy Cameron affirmed the UK’s willingness to support education and technology initiatives in the state.


Collaboration in Education and Skill Development

The meeting also covered Telangana’s draft education policy, where Ms. Cameron offered the prestigious Chevening scholarships for meritorious students from Telangana on a co-funding basis.

Additionally, the UK is prepared to provide training programs for government teachers and university professors, enhancing the state’s education and skill development framework.
