Ahmedabad Plane Crash: Telangana CM, Union Ministers React as Air India Flight A171 Crashes

Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy, Union Minister G Kishan Reddy, and several other leaders expressed deep shock after a tragic plane crash in Ahmedabad. Sadly, many people are feared dead.

While sharing his concern, Chief Minister Revanth Reddy prayed for the safety of all passengers and crew members. Moreover, the Telangana CMO mentioned on ‘X’ that he requested the Central government to take immediate relief actions to help the victims and their families.

“Chief Minister Shri @revanth_anumula feels deep sorrow over the tragic crash of Air India Flight A171. The plane crashed during take-off from Ahmedabad on its way to London,” the post said.

Union Ministers Share Their Condolences

In addition to Revanth Reddy, Union Minister G Kishan Reddy prayed for a speedy recovery of the injured and comfort for all affected families.

Similarly, Union Minister Bandi Sanjay Kumar offered his prayers. He stated that there is still hope for the safety and survival of everyone on board. His thoughts remain with the passengers, crew, and their families.

AIMIM Chief Calls for Investigation

Meanwhile, AIMIM president Asaduddin Owaisi demanded a complete investigation into the accident.

“I am deeply concerned about the Air India crash in Gujarat. My prayers are with everyone involved. A full investigation must follow,” Owaisi emphasized.

Details of the Air India Flight A171 Crash

The Air India flight A171, which was heading to London, carried 242 passengers and crew members. Unfortunately, it crashed into a residential area in Ahmedabad shortly after takeoff on Thursday afternoon. Consequently, many lives may have been lost.

DGCA and Air India Issue Official Statements

Furthermore, the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) and Air India confirmed that rescue operations are underway. Authorities have launched a full investigation into the tragic event.
