IMD Issues Yellow Alert for Telangana as Rain and Temperature Drop Expected Over Next Three Days
The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a yellow alert for rainfall across Telangana over the next three days, with temperatures expected to drop by 2°C to 3°C.
According to IMD officials, rain is likely to continue throughout the period, with a noticeable dip in temperatures. The coldest region in Telangana on Friday was Asifabad, recording a minimum temperature of 8.1°C. Sangareddy and Adilabad followed closely, with minimums of 8.2°C.
In Hyderabad, the minimum temperature stood at 15.5°C, while the nearby districts were colder. Rangareddy recorded 11.1°C, and Malkajgiri saw temperatures dropping to 13.3°C.
Residents of Telangana are advised to be prepared for the changing weather conditions.
